Inherited Treasures

One of the things I got after my grandfather passed away was a notebook filled with a lot of his sketches and drawings. I never really even knew that he had any artistic talent. He did though. He seemed to like drawing wildlife and things of that nature. He drew some horses and I was amazed at the detail he put into the saddles. I know that these sketches would never mean a thing to anyone else, but they're something that I will treasure for the rest of my life and hopefully will pass down to the younger generations of my family in time. I might even frame a few of them. I think he'd like that and would approve!
